The University of Cincinnati's Kelly Dobos was featured in a TIME article discussing the safety of gel manicures after the European Union prohibited the use of a chemical ingredient called trimethylbenzoyl diphenylphosphine oxide used in some gel nail polishes.

The life and research of Katherine (Katie) Burns, PhD, an associate professor in the Department of Environmental and Public Health Sciences in the University of Cincinnati's College of Medicine and a prominent endometriosis researcher, was recently featured on Short Wave, NPR's science podcast. It came after she was the subject of an in-depth feature article in Science Magazine.

Researcher developing pancreatic cancer treatment that targets...

MSN highlighted the University of Cincinnati Cancer Center’s Ahmet Kaynak's research that examined the unique tumor microenvironment of pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma cells, identified one of the key proteins that aids tumor treatment resistance and developed a new drug targeting this protein that reduced tumor size and increased survival in animal models.
